Perfect Weather to polish & wax
The weather in Eugene OR has been absolutely perfect to polish and wax the car. Mid 70's with a cool breeze. I got the top surfaces done in the garage along with the passenger side and it was cloudy today so the driver's side got the treatment. The car looks great. There are some annoying little chips in the front, very small, like the size of the head of a pin. Has anyone had luck with any of those chip removal kits? Maybe removal is the wrong word but you get the drift.

yes it works . but by far the best option is to have a laqure touch up pen color matched in a paint pen . or paint pot with a tiny brush and fill the chips higher than the paint surface . with time it will cut back to level with the surface . $10 at an automotive pain supplier .
looks much better than white polish filled chips . make sure you clean the polish off before applying it . my car is covered with dots of touch up . and looks fine . can't really see them unless looking for them up close .

>Love that no# plate
Thanks, back in the day the state of Massachusetts only had a single rear plate. Those who kept 'em, get to keep 'em... :-)
>Few little chips on there too
Ya, that one's been there for awhile, but you don't really see it unless you are gett'n up close and personal. It's all plastic there so I'll just get some touch up paint and get aroundtoit. Also the damn car wax I use leaves little white flecks that don't get buffed off immediately. I have to go around the car looking very closely and then deal with them individually. I'm finding them for weeks after I do the spring/fall wax job.
Oh, did anyone notice there are 9 separate Jaguar references (look at the bottom edge of the license plate frame... ;-)
