Default Painting hood louvers

Any of you got experience with painting these? I don't want to paint the whole louvers just the supercharged text.. Im having a socialist do my wheels I'm hoping he can do it, but just out of curiosity anyone here done and know what's needed to achieve that result of just the text etc?

Yep, I've done it, it was dead easy and turned out great.
Pretty much any caliper or engine enamel will do, I used silver/alooominum on mine.
1. Thoroughly clean the area you want to paint (I used meths).
2. Slap on the paint with a small tipped artist's brush, nice and thick, don't worry about going well outside the lettering.
3. Let it sit/dry for about 10 minutes.
4. Use a soft cloth soaked in mineral turps to wipe off the excess.
5. Let sit for another 10 minutes.
6. Repeat steps 2 and 3.
7. All done, grab a beer and sit back and admire your work!

I did mine this way about a year ago and the paint hasn't deteriorated or faded or chipped at all.

Don't mind the white stuff around the edges, that's just excess polish that I didn't clean off very well!

Slick! And here I was thinking I had an original idea ! Haha jk.. Yea I'm going for the all black car with red badges, black wheels with red pin stripe and hoping to do the wheel lettering red also. And then red lettering on the louvers..
