Default Unwanted Walmart and Google warnings

Not sure why but many times I've accessed this site on my Droid it sends me to unwanted adverts saying I've got a virus, sends me to a Google site, or a Walmart site of I click on a post. This does not happen when I visit any other site.

I've installed AdAware, AVG, and Malwarebytes none show a virus of any sort. Anyone else have this happen?

Its like this site gets periodically infected.
Every few weeks, as I'm scrolling through a thread reading the latest posts, I'll get hijacked and redirected into the Apple App Store to buy some stupid game.
I have to endure this several times, before my phone (iPhone 5s) gives me a pop-up asking if I want to 'cancel', which I do, and then I'm good for a few more weeks.

None of those will block unwanted ads. Your browser is most likely the root source of the problem.

Try Adblockplus and/or Ghostery.

I'll ask a mod to move this to

Jaguar Forums Feedback & Suggestion Center - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum

where it will get more attention.

Yep same issues here, no problems with any other sites and have also installed several apps to combat it with no success.

Hi Everyone,

My apologies for the inconvenience these ads are causing. We're working to remove them as quickly as we can. When you next see one of these ads, can you please take a screenshot and post it here? If you could also include both the URL the ad sends you to and the URL of the forum thread/page you were on when the ad first appeared, that'd be helpful as well.

Thank you!

Thanks for the screenshots, Leeper. I'll pass them along to our ad team. If possible, the next time you see this occur, can you take one more screenshot and include the ad banner at the top of that forum page?

Thanks again!

Thanks for the screenshot, bigdhenderson. If you could also provide a screenshot of where you were on the forum right before the redirect occurred (including the banner ad at the top of that page), it'd be much appreciated.

I am with the rest in this thread. I am on an Android Turbo. I only receive the spam sites through JF. As of late I only visit the S Type and Off Topic subdirectories.

I also get the Walmart ads pictured above.

I received the one below a couple of minutes ago in the S Type directory. The "Comporium" reference is my internet provider. I know that they are not sending it.

I closed out of JF a short time ago, then returned to the S Type subdirectory, clicked on the first new post. I was redirected to the below.

I assure anyone reading this post of a couple of things. I do not have "13 serious viruses from visiting **** sites" and also I DO NOT visit **** sites!

Again, logged into the S Type forum just now. The following popped up instead of JF. Android Turbo phone using up to date Chrome. Only happening here on JF.

I exactly saw same message as joycejag only difference mine was related to battery lifespan . It prompted to download a program called SuperCleanB on my Android phone . I didn't do anything . I just restarted the phone and shy away from the Watchville's particular newsblogs . Only two of them seemed to be affected by while other blogs worked fine

Yes, these ads are unfortunately appearing on a number of sites in our network. Right now, they appear to be limited to only Android devices. We're working to resolve the ads ASAP and i hope to have good news on that front soon.

Thanks again for your patience, guys. I know how frustrating these pop-ups are.

We believe we have identified the culprit of the mobile ad issues and removed their banners from our rotation. This should hopefully put an end to the unwanted redirects, but if you still experience any going forward, please let me know.

Thank you!
