P0128/u0132/p2601
I'm receiving the following codes after a 2 hour highway trip:
----Pending Trouble Codes Scan Report----
3 Pending Trouble Codes Trouble Codes:
1. P0128
Coolant Thermostat (Coolant Temperature Below Thermostat Regulating Temperature)
2. U0132
Lost Communication With Suspension Control Module "A"
3. P2601
Coolant Pump "A" Control Circuit Performance/Stuck Off
Does anybody have any ideas what could be causing these three errors? Do you know if they may be related?

P0128 - https://www.obd-codes.com/p0128 - coolant / fan / sensor / thermostat
U0132 - wiring?
P2601 - wiring / circuit issue.
I've heard on this forum before that body grounds can cause multiple issues... hmmm...

Hi Bob,
First of all, can you please tell us the year, model and engine of your Jag? That will help others provide the most accurate replies.
Assuming your car is an X350, you can download the full Diagnostic Trouble Code Summaries manual at this link:
https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...03388427,d.cWw
As 06-XJR mentioned, electrical faults such as low battery voltage, corroded ground points or electrical connectors can cause spurious fault codes. If it were my car, I would clear the codes and see which, if any, recur.
Regarding the codes you pulled, note that Jaguar's definitions and possible causes often vary from the generic definitions at OBDII code websites, and not all codes were implemented by Jaguar. Also, generic OBDII scanners sometimes misinterpret Jaguar codes.
Here are the Jaguar definitions and suggested causes, per the X350 DTC Summaries manual:
P0128: Coolant thermostat range / performance.
Possible causes include:
Contaminated coolant
Engine coolant thermostat failure
ECT Sensor failure (ECT Sensor DTC(s) also flagged)
U0132: Not found in manual, possibly not implemented by Jaguar. (reconfirm the DTC).
P2601: Not found in manual, possibly not implemented by Jaguar. (reconfirm the DTC).
Cheers,
Don

You codes look OK as my 2005 workshop manual gives the same causes:
Does your temperature gauge decrease below the middle line when going downhill or no load? If so, your thermostat seal has failed and could cause a P0128.
The other two, rightly or wrongly I usually reset them and see if they reoccur.
