Purchasing a 95 XJS V-12
Hey fellas, found a blue 95 XJS v12 with 32000 miles on it. It was just traded in at a Mercedes Benz dealership. They are asking $8500 at the dealership. Im planning to buy it this week. Any opinions on if I should or not. I had the 6 cyl but this is virgin territory. It looks mint.

It would be worth more than $8500 in parts...........
Being the last of the model it will be a desirable collectable in the future. If Merc dealers are the same in the USA as they are here in Australia they would not sell a car with faults, when I sold my AMG C32 with 80000km on it the local Mercedes dealership WOULD NOT buy it as I had it serviced at a Authorised Mercedes agent NOT dealership.

Very few. It was the last year it was available in the US, the number of ~200 sticks in my mind, but I could be wrong.
The gauge in front of the shifter is an add on, but other than that, it's an excellent looking car. Assuming it runs as well as it looks I'd buy it now.

That car is a fine example. If you have any doubts to the price look up Clarkes XJS in England and you will see how valuable it is across the pond.
The '95 V12 XJS will be very sought after in the future because few were produced, it was the last of the V12's in the XJS but for a few special orders and very few were shipped to North America. From what I remember less than 200 came here and the number 147 comes to mind.
There are people buying up these low mileage fine examples and shipping them back to Europe so if it were me I would get that car purchased with no delay or it may very well get purchased before you realize what happened.
Consider this, it would cost north of $8500.00 to repaint that car to factory spec so that is why it is such a great value in that condition and mileage. Great find and congrats on your very nice new to you XJS.
That color is one of the best on the XJS IMO with the blue top-very striking and desirable. My solid red '95 XJS takes first place in it's class unless I take the blue one to compete against it- just something about that color combo on the XJS that makes the car stand out.

That is a Beautiful car! Like others have said. Here in my area it would bring 10,000.00 easily. The price being sort of on the lower end, could be that the Mercedes dealer does not want to have it on their lot, distracts from their brand. If it were on a Jaguar dealers lot, it would probably be much more, but that's just my opinion. Good Luck.

The full name is "20 spoke diamond turned exposed nuts". Part number MNA6113FB. There was also a covered nut version, in both 7" and 8" widths. Exposed nut was always 7" wide.
