You're under no obligation, warranty or otherwise, to have it serviced by a dealer.

They included it by raising the price so you still ended out ahead. I'm about to go in for my 2nd year as well. Being SoCal I don't expect it to be on the low end of quotes.

True, but after finding someone to extract the oil out properly and the hassle of sourcing the correct oil for the application, it's just easier to bite the bullet and have the dealer do it. This car is going back at lease end anyway...

Then instruct the dealer to do only that which is required by Jag for warranty purposes and nothing more.

No sense in paying more than you need to due to a dealer inflating their prices.

2014's and earlier did not come with the maintenance package (not sure what year the package was introduced). First year is free - you are on your own after that.
