Looking to see how many drivers are driving a real vehicle out there, looking to see the representation of Jaguar owners through-out the lower mainland to Vancouver Island to all of B.C.

It's time for Jaguar to be represented!
Hi
I am from Vancouver island. Just bought a 2016 Jaguar XF AWD Prestige Ammonite grey metallic with light oyster leather interior. We love it. Good MPG too. Getting about 7.5 to about 8.5 on steady legal speed highway driving. AL
Howdy from sunny Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. I've owned this beauty for 4-5 years now. Lots of miles of km's on her (approx. 160,000) but she's still going strong. I've visited these forums many times for technical details and help so I thought it about time I signed up and joined the party.

I just bought my 2000 S type on August sixth, 2016. It is British Racing Green with cashmere interior and spent most of its life in Edmonton. It now resides in Parksville, British Columbia. I have just finished getting the driver's seat mobile and finding a quiescent battery drain and hope to be on the road in the spring of 2017. My first Jaguar and I don't yet have a picture of it.

From Chilly Chilliwack, BC . I have a 2003 Jaguar X-type in British Racing Green, bought in August of 2015. Love the car but it's finicky in the winter.
Sure does. Welcome. Do come out to Parksville and enjoy the Boardwalk by the ocean. I drive my new XF AWD around here and don't worry about snow--haven't seen any lately.
Dorn in Coquitlam, Member of Jag Forums for several years. On my Seventh Jaguar now. Got hooked by my first Mark 7 Saloon. Now own '95 Vanden Plas, short wheel base and '03 XK8. Both Black w/Tan interior. Both in great shape.
Oh those older Jag models had such plush interiors. My new XF AWD is more Teutonic dash wise but very good quality. I managed the snow and ice well over Christmas at upper levels of Coquitlam. Just have M&S Contis.
My buddy was over in Van last weekend, came back and told me there were no cars like mine (XJ40's) running around downtown that he could see - which is a huge contrast to Victoria where you see them all the time!
Last week I even parked next to one in the fleamarket parking lot that was the same colour and trim as mine although it was a '90 with the little wheels and not half as nice as my VDP (if the owner is reading this apologies in advance, mate!)
There are probably more in Victoria per capita that survive than anywhere else around the globe!!!
Probably better weather for winter cruising and more ex Brits too.
cheers

I grew up in Victoria and English cars were common, particularly after the drop in the value of the pound in the late 'forties. Austin A40s and Hillmans and British Fords and Commer vans were everywhere. I heard that the A40 outsold Chevrolet in 1949 or 1950 but that could just be a rumour. Regardless, as a young teenager I would slaver over the Jaguars for sale at Plimley's, especially the XK120s, but the Mark V was pretty appealing as well. I just got my first Jag finally just last year. Not as nice as a Mark V but I am looking forward to driving it when the spring weather arrives.
