Haven't been on in a while as I've been moving. But in the move I did have the opportunity to upgrade my garage. So far I've had the floor done, wired/installed a heater, insulated the garage doors, and added a beer fridge/couch in addition to the obvious.
Next I plan to mount a TV and add some custom cabinets/a work bench.
I'm jealous. I'd love to do something like that..but what to do with enough spare parts to build most of a LandCruiser, MINI, MotoGuzzi and Harley? Time to build a LeMons racer.
No exciting news for the F Type. Sadly winter has come so it won't be hitting the road for a few months. But I did use my day's off over the holidays to finish up the garage.
I installed a set of cabinets/work bench along the back wall, finished insulating the garage door, added an air hose reel, and put up an SVR picture I received for Christmas. I'm hoping to get a project car to work on in the near future... the F type doesn't require much work and I have noticed if I put the AP lowering spring I have on it, probably won't be able to drive it on the hoist. So if anyone want's those, let me know. I've got the spacers too.
That looks great! You can still install the springs and get on the lift, you'll just need some wood.
Which spacers do you have, 15 or 17mm? Also do you know what the overall diameter is on it? Reason I ask is that I have carbon ceramics and in the rear the mounting surface is not entirely flat, so overall diameter needs to be about 138mm or so.

The whole reason I bought a hoist is so I didn't have to spend 15 minutes getting the thing in the air every time i want to work on it. Some wood contraption doesn't seem realistic.
I see that you are using the stock, yellow approach ramps that come with the lift. Bendpak offers longer, 48" approach ramps, which will solve your problem.

No they won't. I'll hit the center underbody, not the front/rear fascia. Only thing that would help is if i had ramps longer than the vehicle wheelbase, which is obviously unreasonable.
Stohlen, nice work. I built a shed over the summer so I could clear the garage for the first type (step 1). Looks like your on your way! Can you back onto the lift? That's how I get into my driveway.
