+1, you can only do so much with budget vehicle. So if I dumb down my expectations it still isn't to my liking. I like my company car, a Chevy Malibu, interior better.

That S-Class twin 12" displays are just so nice. The seats also - more comfy that my theater chairs at home. Yep, that is NICE.
At $105k for a used 2016 S550 or $200k for an S65 my butt won't see one anytime soon.
AMGs post warranty - the pricing is crazy - as in cheap, but just one of those displays dies or pretty much anything breaks and you are screwed.
I know the F-type's is not the best, especially the tech, but the only thing I will always love is the center grab handle and center switches. Could be a lot worse.

A buddy recently bought a '16 S550. All black, mid spec car. Does nothing for me. I like center gauge thing, but mood lighting and all that is just not my thing. Seats were comfy, but they should be... The outside looks like a livery car. Glorified Uber...

I traded a 2005 Maserati GT 6 speed manual against my 2010 XKR coupe. The Jag is a more modern and reliable car but doesn't come close to to the Maser for interior fit, finish and elegance. Also, the Maser drew looks and compliments constantly. Very few here in South Florida notice vehicles like the XK/XKR or Mercedes SL550 as there are so many.

AlexKeyWest,
I don't find the fit and finish of the XKR's interior too bad, but, it's kind of boring, just nothing outstanding that makes you feel special. As far as compliments, I have customized my 2010 XKR coupe a little bit, and I get a decent amount of compliments. However, my 2002 XKR 'vert receives compliments every single time I drive it, neverending.
Looks are one thing, but the go power (especially with a pulley/tune/exhaust mod), the handling and suspension are outstanding in comparison to the X100 (and just about anything else).

Not a car rooted in reality, but I think the Pagani Huayra's interior is the definition of bespoke. I don't know what other hypercar manufacturer do with their interiors but I doubt they focus as much attention to design and detail as Pagani does. It's going to be hard deciding between tan, black, or red leather when I trade the XKR in for one.
