Driver's Side VVT chain guide.


Hello.

Do you by chance have a driver's side, variable valve train chain guide that will fit a 1997 coupe with original 4.0 liter engine ? If you haven't already parted it out, I believe you can see it from above at the very front of the engine, but it will require removal of the cover over the primary timing chain. (Can't tell from the photo if the part is still there or if you are planning to dig into this end of the motor.)

The Jag-Moke who previously owned the car apparently broke off an ear and left it hanging. Pretty sure the car will run better with a new used one !

Lonomack, I did not keep the engine wiring harness, unfortunately only kept the ones for the doors and seats.

As far as the seats, did not keep the cushions, covers, or frames. All I have is the modules, motors, switches, etc. Not sure if any of those might help.

 

Did your heat work? How much for the MJA6710AA heater water pump and for the temperature control module, LJA7600AH?
Also, the hydraulic top pump, HJA8225EE conv top hydr pump?

Do you know if your seat modules are the same as the modules in a 2006 XK8? Here's a pic of my part number...

 

Chilly - I just used my own seat modules in the repair/purchase of my soon-to-be-arriving replacement XK8! Bad timing.

However, here is some help. The guy at the shop who did the work is a Jag expert of some reknown, and he assured me that the seat modules are all interchangeable, despite different part numbers. In my case, I had LJA2160AF from 1997 car. And they went into a 2005 car, and worked just fine. So I would bet that any module would work for you too.

Sorry for the bad info in my list. I will see if I can take out the lines I have sold from my initial post.
