thought about it and idk if I want the ride quality to suffer that much.. right now on the base wheels which are 18" the tire profile is 40 and im loving how well it absorbs bumps.

I suggest going to carid.com website and select wheels and manufacturer Niche. They have a wheel that looks similar (what mfr. is your wheel?). They have a configurator you can select and put in your info for f type. Select your car color and try the different wheels. See if the link below works for you.

P.S. There are other similar configurators out there on other wheel seller sites.

but of course we can all agree 20s or even 21s look much better with our cars I mean it just fits the belt line and profile better but ride comfort wise I am on a base car so even thought right now I wouldn't say it's that stiff (mind you I am coming from a lowered bmw 335 on coilovers) I still would say i rather just compromise and get 19s and maybe those h&r springs you mentioned. do you happen to have a picture of your car btw?

Once you go 20s you never go back!
The ride is just right with 20s and HR lowering imo. Having driven BMW M cars for the past few years, this setup is a breeze in comparison. But I agree, that I would eventually move to 21s. Only problem is tire size availability. This car needs at least 305s. 315s preferably.
