Default F-type areas to Xpel/ClearBra/3m

Of course 'everywhere' would be nice, but for budgeting purposes that looks like about a $1200 job from what I can tell so far.

Blue areas = clear bra Note sure if it can be applied over headlights? The pillars maybe not - the front nose section/bumper the most important place.

The entirety of my hood seems to need it even more than the front bumper. Other than the rockers just in front of the rear wheel, that's where I get the most gravel scuffing on my film.

Possibly overkill, but I say (from experience) do the lot! It's a false economy not to in my book on such an expensive motor...but guess this depends on whether you keep it etc.

You can bet your bottom dollar the panel you don't have covered will get hit.

Completely agree. Covering the hood completely in XPEL has saved me two nasty chips and I've only had the car 4 months. I am pretty sure the rocker panels have done similar just not aware of the rescues. As soon as I can, I plan to finish the car completely. It's expensive but The relief of not having to think about damage is well worth it.

I missed my calling. I should really open an art gallery.

I agree with doing the hood too. I have everything in the cool sketch done (except the grill bar) and also have behind the rear wheel and around the back bumper done too.

Cheers,
Dave

you also need the rear haunches done as stones find their way up there also

You don't need the full sills done, just the area's close to the wheel splash

you don't need the whole bonnet, just the front 1/3

you should also get the leading edges of the rear bumper by the rear wheels as that gets road rash also

you need the lower side wings also, full panel

I had all these areas done, drove 16,000 HARD miles, all spotless

This is what I would do at a minimum and if the other suggestions were cost effective:
(I would put Opti-Coat or some ceramic coating on the sils)

After doing the front (including the entire hood) and sides, I ended up going back for a strip across the rear spoiler due to a small chip right at the top edge. Just when I thought I had things covered, heh.
