Ok folks, here's the plan:

Meet at the Lyndon Diner at 11:30 am on Sunday January 1. Then go on a twisty and somewhat scenic route that Marko has laid out.

Lyndon Diner
1353 Kenneth Rd (just off Rt 30 west end of York next to Olive Garden)
York, PA 17404
(717) 699-5523

The weather looks like it may cooperate with a partly cloudy forecast in the mid 40's and a 20% chance of light rain. We will continue to monitor the weather and may cancel accordingly, as most of us are running summer tires.

Sounds like fine January motoring weather to me. Superchargers will like these temps.

Hey Guys,

NoVA local and a perspective F-Type buyer here. I've been lurking on here for quite some time and was wondering if you guys would mind if a couple of non-F-Type owners could join in on this? I'm absolutely in love with the chassis and would love to snap some pics and simply enjoy the exhaust symphony

I currently drive this:

I would most likely be having my friend that has a 03 Cobra drive me so I could take some pictures and video.

You are certainly welcome. I'll just need to give Lyndon Diner a rough headcount so we don't end up waiting forever for a table at lunch.

ShaunPA - Media, PA (?)
Unhingd - Silver Spring MD (1 or 2)
Mbourne - New Freedom, PA (2)
JackMac - Phillyburbia (?)
turka - NoVA (1 or 2)

Please edit the count or add to this list.

I have loaded the proposed route beginning at the Lyndon Diner in York. As you can see takes us down some nice twisty and scenic roads. At the bottom of the route in Hunt Valley MD there is an option for those that want to end and hit I-83 South or North. For those that want to continue for a bit more it takes us up another set of scenic roads back to I-83 in Shrewsbury PA. From there those that want can go back north/east or south. Total route is 74 miles or so. About a 90 minute route at Ftype pace.

Hopefully this link works. https://roadtrippers.com/map?lng=-76...&a2=t!16536068

Oh and I'll have my self and my son, so (2) attending.

We can take 616 towards the Diner if it's twisty enough.

Easier to meet at the Toms gas station right off the I-83 exit on the right as you come off the exit ramp. That's also Forest Ave as the intersection you mentioned has no place to park to meet up. Several road options from there to the diner that have some turns.

Do you plan to use 2-way FRS radios for between-car communications and calling out turns? I'll plan to bring a pair along, very helpful on follow-the-leader style drives.

We do it old school: turn signals.

If someone gets lost, Marko and I generally have the cell numbers up on the display.

Current Count:
1MadCat - Lafayette Hill, PA (?)
ShaunPA - Media, PA (?)
Unhingd - Silver Spring MD (1 or 2)
Mbourne - New Freedom, PA (2)
JackMac - Phillyburbia (2)
turka - NoVA (1 or 2)
