Question Aluminum CAI tube diameter

Can someone with a Mina, Stage 1 or similar CAI kit measure the OD of the intake tube and post the measurement? Thanks.

caldoofys is 3'' ID , and is cold rolled S/S so is the best there is .
most including mine are 3'' OD apparently it makes a difference .
mine is just an alloy 90* 3'' for an intercooler pipe . with a spun boss fir the crank case breather welded to it .

Do you think that a 3.5 inch tube would create a problem. SC intake is 3.25 diameter (oval shaped). As I stated in previous post, the air box, filter, MAF sensor and housing will be stock. Is the silicone coupler @ SC intake on yours a reducer or did you just stretch it? Did you remove your intercoolers to polish them? Nice lookin' bay! ps - our cable channel "Velocity" has started airing "Garage Dreams" with a bunch of OZ gear heads and their stories (mostly from Victoria) . . . haven't seen any NZ blokes yet though.

the joiner is just 3'' 5 ply IC pipe hardly had to stretch it it took little effort to slip on.

there is simply not enough room/space between the web of of intercooler coolant pipes and the bonnet/hood for 3.5'' ..

i squashed mine oval a bit at the last two inches of pipe .

my charge coolers at the time of that photo, i just mag wheel acid washed them ,
then a quick rub of autosol over them, in place .
i have since removed them and made the insides just as bright and shinny.
also painted the SUPERCHARGED letters on them red . looks smart .
thanks , the engine bay is my favorite part of this car . i use alkaline to wash every thing , then acid wash all the alloy and autosol the j-pipe and charge coolers , auto glym plastic conditioner on all the plastics ,and wd40 the whole engine bay and engine and wipe it all down again about every 3-6months . I'm very anti corrosion !
