I just did the footwell lights in blue to match my illuminated plate. The passenger side under the glove box is a bitch unless you have shoulders the size of Taylor Swift.
Finally got it using long nose pliers to push the vent piece back holding that in my mouth and getting my right hand in there -- of course with LEDs you MUST put it in backwards first.
I used the two spares in the door bottoms (puddle lights) until the logo ones get here. They also look much nicer - if people are not interested in the projector type lights, the LEDs are a must.
Worth it at $7. Really worth it if you have a skinny teen that can get in there. Don't get the TEAL.

The only start button I see on Ebay is a trashed used one for $85 or I'd get a spare.

Yes - bright enough to drown out my camera when trying to take a pic. But that light it facing 'up' and opposed to the logo projector light facing down.
It appears that the one I got has a white/blue logo which will do better with the ambient lighting, sills, and footwell lights.
These are the brightest footwell and lower door light I could find. 4 X T10 Blue CANBUS ERROR FREE 501 194 W5W LED 3014 57SMD Car LED Lights Bulbs | eBay

I figured if my button is starting to wear after a year, and they are only $25, what the heck, I'll get a couple of extras. Also, think I might have read somewhere that they aren't going to be making more of them.
By the way, do we really need canbus lights? Or is it just that you'd rather be safe than sorry (particularly given the contortions necessary to get those frickin footwell lights).

I suspect you don't need canbus globes.
On both my XFs I fitted a wide range of W5W LED globes, some SMD, some Cree, some COB, most not canbus but some that were, and the ones that were least reliable and prone to flicker were the canbus ones.
On the F-Type I've done the door sill puddle light logo projectors and the two footwell globes, all have worked perfectly from the get go, but I can't remember if any of them are canbus.

I just turned the interior lighting off by waving/touching the centre overhead panel, then waited a couple of minutes for the globes to cool down. Rubber gloves would not have worked for me as I have little enough feeling already in my fingertips as a result of a "medical condition".

You need a small/short bulb for the passenger footwell light behind the glove box because it is semi obstructed. One of the flat panel 20 or 30 leds with a lead out to a short plug in would also work if someone really wanted A LOT of light down there.
The passenger footwell light is definitely the difficult one. I almost gave up. Probably took me 20 minutes struggling to finally get it to go.

Installed the puddle lights. Well worth $20 - I would never imagine such a thing being so cheap.
I'm sure if the dealer had these listed as a sticker option they'd be $400.00
Not crazy about the illuminated treadplate being almost a bluish teal color, but I'll live with them.
The puddle lights themselves earn a '10' rating.
