Sill cover clips
Hi
I've signed up to your excellent forum having found advice on how to fix my gear selection issues a couple of weeks ago.
My next job, that I've but putting off for a while, is to remove my sill covers to get some waxoyl on the sills hopefully before they dissolve.
I understand that the top clips are like this:
20x Ford Interior Trim Panel Retainer Clips- Door cards, fascias- Fiesta Ka Puma | eBay
However, I can't find anything to show what the bottom ones are like and I'd like to have some ready before I start.
Any ideas?

Nope, it's definitely the sills I want to protect. The cover has clips along the top and bottom. The top ones are a generic Ford type used for various trim panels, including door cards, as per the link.
The bottom ones feature a plastic screw apparently. I'm going to take a pic and possibly remove one when I get in from work later.

Sill cover clips?
The clips are a normal, white nylon push pins, I am sorry I do not have any photos with the. As I lost an X-type do to the rusted sills the first job on the new S-type was to check the condition of the sills. I removed the sills by just pulling on the clips after unfastening the screws along the bottom edge. I did not break any of them and reused them all. As I figured the rust has started, but this is a 2008 Canadian car that is winter driven. I sprayed heavy rust check sealant inside the sill until it ran out the welded seam at the bottom and then painted the exterior with POR15. As I want to keep this car I intend to do this job every year before winter.
Before refurbishment.
After Rust Chek and POR15

No those are not right. You need this one. They are unique and you won't find them at a parts store either. I can't get them off without cutting them. So they must be replaced every time the sill cover is removed.
XR842592-Expensive from Jaguar but are on EBay sometimes too. So look around.
You can see I found them for a $1 each.
Just a suggestion but as you know it takes 10 per car if doing both sides. Note I ordered 11 just in case I put one in and need to take it out for some reason. Just a little insurance at $1 each!
Sorry I forget but I got mine from Engel Imports/Terry's Jag-800-851-9438

I got some from the nearest Jaguar dealer, 300 miles away. They have new clips to hold the door sill cover now. The clips are less than a dollar apiece, luckily they also mailed them to me for the basic postage cost too. They go on very easy, but don't hold the piece on super tight, at least it holds the trim piece on securely though. Most hardware stores have generic plastic retainers, no cheaper, but no mail order is needed either.
