Default New Color for my F-Type! Help me pick!

Hi everyone!

I picked up my F-Type R Coupe just about a month ago, its metallic black with black interior and red stitching and diamond cut Gyrodyne wheels. Since its my daily driver, I always wanted to protect the paint from stone chips and get a full paint protection film put on it.

Then I thought, why not use the opportunity to change the color of the car...although I love the black color, I feel that it hides some of the details of the F-Type that make it so amazing.

I've narrowed it down to the following options and am really indecisive, I find myself leaning towards different colors on a daily basis. Hopefully you guys can let me know what you think best suits the car. I've included some pictures of the colors for reference on other F-Types or similar shaped cars.

Also just as a note, these are all WRAP options (so no harm the factory paint underneath), and i'll likely get the wheels painted gloss black, leave the hood vents black and emblems in gloss black as well.

1) Carmine Red

2) Gloss Battleship Grey

3) Matte Night Blue Metallic

4) Leave it Black and just get Paint protection film

You could wrap it in a color of your choosing. This would protect the paint as well as giving you a new color... repaint would be expensive if they had to do the engine compartment and other areas. I've seen wraps in the matte blue metallic and it looks good. I have a friend that wrapped his SLS in pearl white. If you sell, you can just remove the wrap.

If I was going to spend the money to wrap my car, I would choose something that is unique and not too close to the usual factory offerings; my choice of the (3) shown would be the Matte Night Blue Metallic.

I know it isnt very adventurous, but I have always found matt or satin black to look the business. Even satin white looks good.

I think any of those three would look good. What's your first choice?

I voted Red, but now I have to agree with Desert Dawg. If a wrap, something new and different.

hmm thats the thing.. if you asked me yesterday to pick a color it would have been the red. but today i drove past a v8 vantage in the battleship grey color with gloss black accents and wheels and i thought WOW! I do like the aspect that the battleship grey is probably not as common out there on Ftype as say the Carmine/Salsa Red

Didn't JLR do a promo with a Union Jack paint job?
I'd love to do a Union Jack wrap on my coupe

Why choose just one color? I'd choose them all.

Jeff Koons example:

My complaint with darker colors is that some of the beautiful lines of the car, like the front gills, tend to disappear. The same is true with busy wraps. I like Unhingd's example, just not on our cars.
