Default Bentley GT

Stumbled up this vehicle sent to me by a dealer

Although I have never been fond of light blue pearl on our coupes this particular color scheme has definitely struck a cord with me not to mention the high quality finish of the interior

A friend had that powder blue in a 4 door Bentley. It looked very girly. When he hit GFC hard times, the 2 year old $400K plus (when new) car had to be sold. Couldnt get $150K for it...He offered it to me but I couldnt get excited even if it was a bargain.

I like the interior but never could get my arms around the style of the body. Just doesn't do it for me.

Agreed with jagtoes..... the body shape is horrendously offensive to my eyes. It actually makes me sad to look at it.

Looked at a used RR several years ago. Before pulling the trigger, spoke with a local neighbor/owner. After hearing of the horrendous maintenance and repair bills, decided to pass. One example was a schedule C maintenance bill-in the $11,000-$12,000 range.
Now if I won a big, big lotto, maybe.....

Are you English, I suppose you are to some degree.
The color combination has different meaning to us. Its the Rolls Royce Corniche- in fact it is the Cotes de Azur and French Riviera. Its what our earliest dreams were made of.

Jaguar and Range Rover both offer this exact combination. My mate had a Range Rover here in the States with it. He had the hardest time selling it.

Incidentally, I have never understood the present virtue of having a manly car that attracts other males. Note the longing stares from the short skirts. We were put here on earth for no other purpose or greater cause. To which end, this was probably the most sensible investment as opposed to speed that you can never travel.

The skirts are obviously looking at the guy with the camera, hoping they will be 'discovered'.
Now, the two guys on the left ARE looking either at the car or more likely, the driver.

Its a very powerful image- YSL, French Rivera, British sensibilities, women admiring that not every man has given into the Germanic delusion that cars should be designed for ze Autobahn and Nuremberg ring.

This is a street that exists in countless cities around the world.

Have you seen the backseat.
Its the British interpretation for Autonomous Driving Vehicle.

My bet was the ladies were looking at the $ signs. Now I wouldn't want to own one of these but I wouldn't mind being in the back seat and having a driver.

It is as nature and the universe intended.
Nature gives you plumage, Rolls Royce gives you the ability to purchase it.

It would be terrible discrimination if it were the other way around. Where a cold society discards you once you have lost your fur and can no longer compete on life's autobahn.

LOL. How right you are, the Nuremberg ring, Goebbels et al built the Autobahn and autoclaves. Funny Freudian slip.
