Looks a GT4-Spec F-Type Race Car
Jag hasn't built spec racers like this in house since the '90s, so this is awesome news. Of course, nothing is official yet, but this info feels pretty solid. Head to the HP for the full story — I can't wait to see pics of these babies!

JLR is building them for a Private customer, will be run by our UK Dealers David Appleby Engineering.
We're hoping to have a couple built and run them on this side of the pond. So if anyone wants to go racing let me know!

You're talking body panels? That I don't know. You would expect so, but then race cars often lag behind road cars, when you think about when development and build started on these cars for example, I doubt the 2018 body was out.

I will be curious as to the final weight of the vehicle.
Heck, these cars have aluminum bodies, you'd think that it would be lighter. Don't know if they could get down to 3,200 - 3,300# with big and powerful V8, but I'm thinking to myself - an F-type would be a track monster if it could shed that much weight.

There were some speculative renderings done by a few sources. Bear in mind, the Aston above is not a GT4, that's a GTE. There's a pretty big difference:
Some of the FType Renders:
Now those are some cool looking cars with some classic liveries, but notice they look far more like the GTE Aston? Side exit exhaust, barge boards etc.
What you're probably more likely to see is something more like this. Not a widebody, with factory lines, some bolt-ons like wing, diffuser, front splitter etc:

No. The GT4 Spec Race cars regardless of brand are not made street legal. It may be possible given the fact that they are not super-modified compared to GT3 spec, but it would depend upon where you wanted to register it and so on. My guess is that for example the EPA would not allow it to be registered as 'just' an FType, so even if you added a parking brake and so on, it would probably be challenging.
This is a trickier question. Due to the reason & commercial agreement about the way these are made, it is unclear. My guess is that one could buy a car if one so desired, but it would not be from Jaguar.
This is purely a stab in the dark based on similar GT4 costs from other manufacturers but I would guess around $200-250,000 USD.
My understanding is that it will carry the V8, and power output will be right around 500BHP.
