I saw these on a BMW 328i this week, and, thought they may look good on an XJS (BMW has an identical bolt pattern & spacing is within a couple millimeters of the XJS. The centers may need to be bored to match the XJS hub)
I have a set of 5 of these from a mid-90s XJR. I originally bought them for JagZilla, but, my plans for her now call for something more aggressive in appearance. I'm not sure if I'll sell these or, put them on SpeedDemon, when the 15" Michelin Pilots finally wear out. All 5 need to have the clearcoat stripped & refinished, and a couple of them have curb rash.
This is what I plan to put on JagZilla, although I'll probably need to have them widened a couple inches for my purposes. The centers on these will also need to be bored to 73.7mm to match the XJS hubcentric design.
Those gold spoked ones are exactly what I'd like to put on mine. Right now I have 15" BBS RSII in gold, which are kind of similar. I'd love to put the ones you show here on in 17". Let me know how your search and fit goes and I may follow.
I've always liked the 16" 20-spoke that came on the later XJS models (1995?) and the X300 VDP. I've seen them with a gold or beige tint on the interior of the spokes, but recently saw this with black trim. Not sure if it is a custom job or if they came like that but I like it on a black car. This car is currently on craigslist, no affiliation.

My son put a set of these on his 1980 (?) XJ6 lump with a 305 Chevy engine. I did not like them at first, but the more I see them.......
Hey everyone, I just picked up a pair of xkr rims as I was told they fit. They are the correct 5x120.65mm and correct center bore. However, where the center cap goes is too small.
my jaguar is a 77. Did something change over the years? Mine has the center cap with the king pin. And is there a way to change it or will I need to bore out where the center cap goes?

l would guess the problem is due to the difference in wheel bearing type between the xjs and xkr.
Machining may be your only option.

I can advise that when I put XK8 17" revolvers on my 92 XJS, they fit on the hub OK, but the axle protruded a bit, & wouldn't allow the growler cap to be fitted (unless I had siliconed it on the axle dust cap) I did not do this. I reverted back to the lattice wheels primarily because the fronts would rub on full-lock. Rubbing was not affected by using spacers. So I went back to using 15" lattice...

What is the offset on the front rims and what tyres are fitted?
What is the offset on the front rims and what tyres are fitted?
tires are 245/45r18. Offset is 33mm for the front. I'm certain they fit, but the center cap is where it is hitting. I haven't tried the rears yet but I think they'll fit. It looks like I'll need at least 12mm spacers to clear. If you look at the pictures above the black centercap is a lot smaller than the hub portion.

The rears should fit fine.
Fronts need +19 to +20 offset, this will poke the rim further out and the hub should then fit in the bore.
My fronts are 16X8 originally for an XJ40 I had 13mm spacers added to the rear of the rims so offset is +20 tyres are 245/50 16 and DO NOT rub.
You might need to change front tyres to either a 225/45 18 or 245/40 18 so they don't rub.

thanks for the help. I originally thought the spacers were to clear the shocks or inner fender rubbing, I didn't know it was for the center as well. Time to order some parts so I can get it on the road
XK front hub lacking the protusion of the xjs due to different bearing type is the problem but it seems you need spacers to correct the offset anyway.
Rear hub is pretty much the same on both cars so you shouldn't have the same problem back there.

I have been meaning to post this for a while but did not get around to it.
Per my research online, I have bought a set of Penta wheels and 5mm hub centric spacers for the XJS.
5mm spacers are still not thick enough to clear the front wheel caps. It almost looks like car needs 10mm but everyone appears to fit them with 5mm.
I finally decided to fit the wheels without the spacers or the caps until i find a further solution (see below pic). I have contacted P.L. from this thread but never heard back.
Can anyone who fit Pentas pitch in? I really do not want to mess with the lugs as most likely I will go back to original lattice wheels one day.

Hey Jagzilla, did you ever try these on your XJS? Did you need any spacers? Open Question for anyone. I have a chance at a set nearby.
I'm also curious about the Pentas fit also, above.
