Default Naked AJ V8 Engine

Hello!

I was browsing eBay the other day when I happened upon someone selling a V8 engine out of a 3.2 XJ8. The seller has stripped the engine right down to the bare minimum almost, which allows a rare look at the engine in it's more traditional V8 form. With the intake manifold, TB, thermostat tower and other bits missing it looks a bit strange but in a strangely pretty way. Or at least I think so anyway. Just thought I'd share the photos with you all in case anyone is interested.

KinD of like the V12 when fully naked... Looks marvelous though! The V8 just lacks more metal parts

I wanted to make a coffee table out of the engine block of a knackered AJ26 engine we had knocking round, but my girlfriend said she wouldn't have it in the house. Shame.

Reminds me of when I had the front timing cover off for tensioners and cleaning, it gave a good idea of the profile of the block
