Though it could be misfires - the car will normally back off long before you feel or hear them.

Worth a check for pending codes.

BTW, wrong sub-forum.

keep driving hard until it gives u a check engine code

Just one thing when i bought the car it was low on petrol, light was on, i put £10 in and light is still on , theres no leaks, i'm wondering if its sucked up some dirt from tank, if it was gearbox ( auto) would i get an engine light come on if there was a fault with it?

Also how involved is it to change fuel filter and plugs

Would this cause no kick down acceleration and a complete failure to go uphills ?

Found the Map sensor cleaned it plugged it back and bingo no code, lets see how it drives next

a sticking flap in the throttle body caused by carbon buildup is a likely cause.
remove throttle body.
clean with the appropriate cleaner and replace.

I'll have a look at throttle body next week
now the Map sensor has been cleaned I don't get the code anymore but EML Led doesn't work
Would a dodgy Map cause above symptoms

just a few more things

the remote key fobs won't unlock
they lock / boot release and lights button work tried the ignition flap that's ok
it won't pair the fobs with car either

also drivers seat electrics don't work
are these common faults ? And easily fixed

Probably best to start new threads if you are having other unrelated issues to allow you to get quicker and better responses to those issues.

fuel filter is easy, 5 minutes
spark plugs are a pain as intake and other stuff has ro be removed to access them. takes about 2 hours the first time
