Anyone know if the XKR-S carbon fibre lower rear diffuser would be a straight fit on the XKR instead of the plain centre plastic moulding? Or is the bumper different? I guess it won't but would be nice!
I've looked at the Adamesh one but doesn't look quite right to me.
Mine is a 2008, but if it would fit in theory, from what years?
Anyone just fitted the diffuser without fitting the whole RS kit?
Here's the rear XKR-S diffuser kit from Steve at Cotswold Jaguar, I've just finished fitting it.
It's the fibre glass mold kit. I took my time over fettling, spraying and fitting it, but I'm really pleased with the outcome, as my lad said... "It looks factory". Took me a few hours over a few weeks to get it so I was happy with it, no doubt I could do it a lot quicker , but I was being particularly careful to get it right first time and figuring out the best way to screw and affix the molded shapes to the standard car as cleanly and strongly as I could. Managed to get the fit to only require 3M VHB tape, no resin or bonding requried.
Also fitted a set of H&R spacers (20mm front, 15mm rear) to make the most of the new rear end. Equally pleased with them as well.
Google different pics. I'm pretty sure the rear bumper changed over the years from our plain looking ones to the newer big diffuser ones that wrap around the exhaust tips.
The short piece between the tail pipes is universal, and the bumper covers are made for both 2 or 4 pipes, as they have the proper mounting holes for either. The larger, full diffuser looking things are a complete bumper cover, as the stock diffuser is only like four inches tall.

Yeah, it's just hard to tell if the big diffuser would fit on top of the XKR bumper to follow its lines and over the exhausts? If it would, I'm sure someone would have done it on here. A scrapper has one off a 2012 XKR-S but they can't say.
I'm sure the whole bumper will be different though?
It looks like if I fit the diffuser, I will need to also get/add the small side trim bits to level through to the diffuser end.
Anyone know what these are called/cost/where to get them?
The red bumper below is XKR-S and the black is my standard XKR (not sure what years these are from though and if that makes a difference?)
That's interesting. I didn't realize the side spats were add on's, thought they were molded as one part. I wonder how the difusser looks without them?
Yeah it's hard to tell but I think it would stick out without them? Might be a problem just buying them and I bet a fortune from main dealer?
Would a 2012 car be these bumpers?
Just a risk buying it unless more confident!
Ha ha prob right there! I could go on and on like most of us but couple of subtle things first. Hopefully getting the single resonator exhaust mid pipe mid done at the W/e so can report on that.
I will price up the genuine side spats just out of interest.
that seems way over priced in that condition. Only a little more for a new one! I know the guy selling this one so seems a bargain at only a couple of hundred so put a deposit on it!
I seem to recall a thread here where someone did this, and posted pictures of all the parts he used. I'll see if I can find it later.
Well, my bad. It was a posting by 'sherbercars' of pictures of the Mina parts he was going to install on his car, which included the diffuser and two extensions, in this thread:

Check under your current difusser, the body has a panel that drops down there blocking the exhaust from going through there. You may also have problems with the rear tie down / dragging bracket.

Not sure what you mean bud? Are you talking about a problem fitting the new diffuser?
