I'd like to expand on my first post which I'd made on the fly when I tried to look something up in a hurry.
I've used this site for several years and have found the site, moderators, web designers etc all working to provide one of the best automotive forums on the web. The users are almost always professional and friendly.
As a former software person the web/browser issues on web design is a pain, due to varying standards on how a page/insert may be presented. I believe this was the case with this Question Pop up. While I like the idea of it (prompting people to add to the discussions here) it was just a bit lacking in they didn't include a 'closure' mechanism, ie 'close or X' to close the popup, which can easily be resolved.
As far as AdBlockers I do use them, I don't run them on this domain since it's existence is paid for by these specific ads (not that I read them) and their vendors, it's my small comtribution to keeping sites like these alive.
Alas I'll also take a hit, this should be moved to the general area or hosting questions topic, I was just going directly into this topic to research my issue..

Your adblocker can easily be set to show the actual site sponsors but exclude all the other garbage being inserted by your browser.

While typing this post Adblocker Plus is blocking 24 ads.
Are you referring to the this one below, I mentioned it a while ago in another thread. I have adblocker, doesn't stop this one as I assume it part of JF and not an add as such. Adblocker stops everything else.
