Default "A beautiful car"

Had a gentleman stop me the other day to compliment me on owning such a beautiful car. I blushed and wholeheartedly agreed! Sure, it's mine, so naturally I think it's the most gorgeous pile of metal, plastic, leather, and glass on the planet. So is it just the thrill of ownership or is the XKR truly one of the classic beauties of all time? Can you tell that I just love the danged thing?

That depends on how many times you look at her in your garage every night before you go to sleep.

Women comment about mine more than men. A lot more often too. Little kids love it as well.

I had a ‘67 Plymouth Barracuda a couple of years ago that I literally couldn’t drive anywhere without someone commenting on it. I expected the same thing with my XKR but, oddly, this hasn’t happened once in the four months that I’ve been driving it.

I mentioned that I was surprised by this to my wife recently and she brought up a good point: I probably seemed more approachable in the Barracuda than I do in the Jaguar. That’s too bad if true; I’m happy to talk cars with anyone anytime!

Didn't Kevin Spacey just say the same thing?

It was like that driving my XJS. I couldn't get out of the gas station for 30 minutes every time. Its like that taking my bulldogs places too. I hope to get oohs and ahhs at this one too!

LMAO- so is yours! The lowest, and still funniest, form of humor.

A day without a good laugh is a day without ...

People come up to me all the time when I stop for gas in the Lotus or if I take it to run an errand. What really has surprised me ate the women who geek over it while their beta-male boyfriends with a man bun look on sourly. Often, she's the one who is driving...

There's no question I'm getting more comments on my XKR than I ever got with my silver XK. Maybe it's the color?
