For the DRIVERS of Etypes please enjoy!
The washers are cupped and the rubber seals the threads
Once installed snug the acorn nuts two times around
Run the car for awhile
Then cool down and resnug till the rubber pushes out flat
After a couple of days they will lock down when you snug them again.
They are wonderful
Maybe 10 cents each
Look at the results my friends..........Ace hardware is the place, they come in many sizes, you need the ones that fit snug over the threads
No more leaks and are way better than the washers with a center rubber ring, that suppliers sell, because the o ring rips away when you retighten over time.
