Also, XJR rear silencer has the output in the same place as "Standart" silencer.

The last set has been sold.

I might be able to have more manufactured if there are five XJ owners who want them. If you're interested, add your screen name below.

Hey there, just wanted to let you know to take me off the list, I already got some.

I bought these for $240 (made an offer):

http://m.ebay.com/itm/PORSCHE-997-MK2-QUAD-EXHAUST-TIPS-FULL-STAINLESS-CHROME-BOLT-ON-997-2-CARRERA-S-/161343769695?nav=SEARCH

To install you will need to file down the inner sleeve/cuff which comes out so its easy to do. Took about 15-20 mins total to file and install both sides.

You can see the inner sleeve, thats the part that needs filibg on the outside. The ridges need filing down to allow it to fit, 59mm vs 60mm factory.

Before

After

P.S. Don't bother. My cost to have them manufactured much more than $240, which is what sosoguju paid that eBay seller for very similar tips. You're better off buying from UKStylings in Taiwan and file them down to fit as sosoguju described. There's no point to my pursuing this any further.

Default Not UK, Taiwan

They actually shipped from Taiwan with international express delivery even though the seller is "UKStylings". I placed the order on the 12th and got them on the 17th, they were actually scheduled for the 16th but carrier took an extra day for some random reason. I will try to measure the pipes tomorrow and let you know. I have attached another photo so you can see the fit in the bumper cutout. I thought they looked a little large initially but it was just because I wasn't used to it and the car was dirty so the chrome finish stood out so much. Personally I like the look of these better than the stock quad exhaust on the XJR, stock seem a little small and also stick out too much but that's just my opinion.

They bolt on with no modifications to the existing exhaust system.

I may be able to get one more set. Price is $425 delivered. PM me if you're interested.

Also see: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...ishers-138212/ I was unable to find any aftermarket "universal" quad tips that would fit without extensive modification to the existing exhaust system.

Stuart
Hey Stuart,
I might be almost 3 years late to the party but any chance you have a set of quad exhaust tips for an XJ I can purchase? Would have PM'd you but I'm new here and have no idea how. Thanks,
Mark

Sorry, Mark, I don't. I'd buy the Porsche tips that Forum member sosoguju described in his Post #28, above. They look great and cost much less than mine.

Thank you so much I really appreciate it!!!..... Saw that price on eBay and jumped on those ***** immediately. I hope I have them within 2 weeks as the excitement has turned me into a giddy child. I literally was just almost ready to throw in the towel and spend $1k + on the full exhaust setup from Mina Gallery. My wallet, and wife, thank you again.

Mark

PS... Although now all the money I saved has lead me to reconsider getting the new LED headlight upgrade... 😂🤪🤣

Mark,
I bought the last set from Stuart and can attest to the quality of them. I never actually got around to putting them on the car and still have them in the box. I don't have the car anymore. If you are interested, just PM me if you are interested.

The quad tips and LED headlights are both cosmetic/style changes, and neither affects performance. Why spend the $$$? Because it makes you feel good. But whether you realize it or not, you've done a cost/benefit analysis and decided it's worth the cost. I concluded that the inexpensive DIY appearance mods I've done so far are worth doing. I've thought about the LED headlights and pulley/tune and, to me, they're both money not well spent. Too great a likelihood of aggravation with electrics of the headlight mod, and since I don't track my XJ I'm content with 470HP.

Although I'm not a mechanic, I'm not afraid to try a difficult DIY project that is well documented and is worth the cost. See my post #153: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-109235/page8/

As for the LED headlights, you'll probably get more bang for your buck by buying a nice piece of jewelry for your wife.

While researching the quad round tips I came across the square/rectangular ones below. The site I found them on sells them integrate with the rear bumper...not interested in all that.

If someone know were to purchase, or installed already please share.

I doubt that those rectangular quad tips will fit in the oval cutout of the OEM rear bumper. Even if they fit, I think they wouldn't look right in an oval surround.

Startech is an aftermarket body kit supplier. My guess is that they designed those tips to fit the rectangular cutout of their aftermarket rear bumper, and that they're the sole source for those tips.
