Wow... Santorini Black ? A great colour in a place where the sun always shines... More north - or where I live, in The Netherlands - weather can be dark and gloomy
and you end up 'invisible' in a dark car and prone to accidents... I used to have a LR2 in this colour. In the sun, the sparkling, great !
Enjoy !

Reminds me of a scene in the Radio Series “The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy”
In the car park at the Restaurant at the end of the Universe, looking at the space ships parked there......
“FORD No. Wait a minute, wait a minute. That one there.
ZAPHOD Hey, Hey. Now that is really bad for the eyes.
FORD It's so black - you can hardly even make out its shape. Light just falls into
it.
ZAPHOD And feel this surface.
FORD Yeah. (Surprise) Hey, you can't.. .
ZAPHOD See, it's just totally frictionless . . . this must be one mother of a mover. I
bet even the cigar lighter's on photon drive.”
Went for a jaunt up to Lick Observatory southeast of San Jose (CA) last weekend. Great curvy road. And I was blessed with no cars in front for most of the way. You can see some of the observatory bldgs waaay off in the distance (little white dots middle left.) (And yes, it is super dirty, it has become my foul weather car.)
You probably drove by where I used to live. It is a nice drive for our cars, I tried it in an R-8 and the extra width of that car turned it into too much of a white knuckle drive. What is really interesting is that if you continue on it is like you ended up in a different State or Country. Suddenly it is all farm land, water, and incredible country views. You end up in Livermore.
Thanks enderle, I think the F-Type is plenty wide! And that is a skinny road! Yeah, tons'o'fun. I think one way ends up in Livermore, another in Patterson, that is really the long way. A lot different views than from the pit (what we used to call the valley...) for sure. DJS, no, it's paved! Pretty nicely in some spots, not so much in others... That was just a turnout big enough to pull out in.

Check the stats: the F-Type and the R-8 are the same width. Just as wide as my full size GMC pickup.
