4.0L Throttle Body return spring

4.0L Throttle Body return spring
Question about a TB return spring. Just saw an engine pic of a 95 or 96 engine compartment and noticed a separate return spring which I do not have on mine. Was this extra spring the result of a Service letter? Is it stock and i am just missing it?

Some users add an extra spring to it so maybe that's a user addition?
If you have a sticky TB, apart from replacing the bottom spring which is still available cheaply from JDHT look here:

Add an extra turn for each of the two top springs and it will work as new.
