Just gave her a wash while it was still sunny and went for a drive before the rain came in. Also get to show off my new stage 3 Spires exhaust with custom 3.5 inch quad tips!

Default New Savini Wheels

Finally got my Savini’s ....turned out great. I went from 18” to 20” with a staggered setup and there is only a slight difference in ride quality. It’s marginally firmer in a good way and the steering is quite a bit more precise. I was concerned about going to 20’s based on some other threads but the jag handles them nicely. Wouldn’t go back!

Rear’s are 285-30/20” Continental DWS06

Looks nice! I know so many prefer after market wheels but I kind of like the factory XFR installed with the growler in the center.

Mark, most after-market wheels which fit Jags will have centre cap holes that the OEM "growler" centre caps fit perfectly in.
So just pop the after-market caps out and replace them with the Jag caps, that's what I did.
The only hassle is you need to take each wheel off to pop the caps out.

Yup...however, Savini’s use a 63mm cap which is designed for Porsche’s. I believe the cap for Jag’s is 56. The savini caps though are flat...i’m awaiting my custom domed metal growler covers that will attach to the savini cap.

I think the Savini's look sharp, but just becareful of the potholes.. What rubber are you running on them? I love my XFR-S wheels but the black is a pain to keep clean..

yeah, will watch for potholes for sure! They are Continental DWS06’s. Really like them so far. Before I had them installed I coated them with drexler ceramic coating. Super easy to clean now. Took a few hours to do but I’m expecting that to payoff over time.

Looks like the offset on these wheels will cause lots of paint removal, in my opinion the wheels extend further that the wheel well.

I have Savinis and the offset is perfect. You could take a right angle square and the wheel would be dead even with the fender lip. I switched to 295's to keep from having a bit of the stretched look on the rears.

yeah that was a big discussion, we loaded it down pretty good and it seemed to be fine. It’s not actually outside the wheel well, just a mm inside...that photo looks like I’m a good inch outside for some reason. Measured and have a good 2.5” of travel before contact. But I’m not sure what full travel on it is with stock 8.5” wide wheels. Will definitely keep an eye on it though.

HA! Shows how much I know!!! LOL

Still, I don't think the wheels I've seen here improves the looks that much. I'd rather get a wrap with some cool unique color!!

Yeah I alsmost went 295’s too, but the 10” wide rims were said to be designed for 285’s... do you have a pic of your 295’s? So you havent had any fender rub issues?

Here you go! No rubbing issues at all. Looks like the app won't let me post photo. Will post photo later.
