Welcome to the forum owas,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the X308 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

You and me both! Looks like we both got into the same car at about the same time. I also have Series 2 Discovery, so am not scared of waving a spanner or two!

my daily driver is an 1986 ex mod 110,
even the disco 2 was abit too complicated for me haha.

ive had a few disco 1's, made a pickup truck out of one, loved them but the insurance is silly money on them for me now .. cheap on XJR though, odd really.

im in the UK btw.

My daily drivers used to be LR's. I put over 250k miles on this Series 3 Safari and Ninety.

No longer need to drive in quarries so I use something more comfortable now!

I always liked the spare mounted on the bonnet too. It deters all but the strongest thieves although it does impede the view!

That's a very substantial looking roof rack.

i made it tie in to the internal roll cage, it is a bit too heavy tbh but its only carries light loads.

i did do a fair bit to make it more comfortable,it came with upgraded exmoor seats and the roll cage (it was an army upgrade) and ive added a slick shift, MOD insulation kit, webasto heater and a 300tdi engine.

but the hard clutch line failed last week and i started driving the jag everyday, other than already filling up 3 times ive gotta say,im not sure i can go back to it

The comfort and cruising ability of Jaguars does become addictive. The farthest I took my X308 was to Barcelona in two days. Here it is parked in the Old Port.

Good to be here with like minded people. I keep thinking I should move my Disco on and get something newer, but I just love the old girl. I have fixed all the usual troubles they have, so reckon its now a keeper.
I agree that driving the Jaguar is in a league of its own, even after mine now turning 20. But also a nice leather clad Disco 2 is a similar experience I think. I will dig out some snaps to post.

Cheers
