Is a Torx key the Same as a Star Key?
Hi Guys
I want to take off the 'Vacuum Module' on the end of the Inlet Manifold, which has all the Vacuum Pipes attached to it
This appears to be bolted on the end of the Inlet Manifold by 3 or maybe 4 long Set Screws with 'Phillips' type heads on them
They 'could' be 'Phillips' heads or 'Star Key' heads or 'Torx' Heads, as I'm not really sure what they are
Please could someone let me know what Tool I need to remove them, as I don't want to mess up the Screw Heads by using the wrong tool
What kind of Tool do I need to unscrew this Vacuum Module?

Phillips is similar to pozidrive - a cross. The difference is Phillips is designed to slip out, the pozi isn't. They are close, but no quite the same. Generally, speaking, Jaguar used Pozi. A pozi screw will have small hash harks at 45 degrees to the main recesses. The wing mirror screws are a great example.

Go to the local parts store? even the chain stores will have a good quality set of them, for about the same money. You don't have to wait on shipping, and if one breaks. You can usually get a replacement. Off Ebay, you're usually just out of Luck. I'm curious as to what Stores, you guy's have in the UK. We have Auto Zone, Orielly's, Advance, Pep Boy's, just to name a few. They carry most all car, and truck parts, and have tools and supplies as well.

Hi Jagboi
Although I never realized, I've already got loads of these TORX bits that came with sets of drills that I've bought in the past, though this will be the first time that I've ever needed one
This T40 TORX in a Socket Wrench was the ideal tool to remove the set screws in the Vacuum Module
