Finally decided to be unlazy and pulled the right rear to see why it was sitting a little funny, and hey, pretty sure the U-joint shouldn't move like that.. I have quite literally INCHES of play when I push on 12 O'clock. Parking for the weekend while I head to Newport, and then I'll have to see how bad a job this is going to be in the driveway when I get back home.

Page 4-7 of Driver's Handbook:
"Door Mirror Dipping.
To give the driver a clear view of the kerb when reversing, the passenger door mirror can be dipped without erasing the memorized mirror position.
To Operate; With the selector switch in either left or right position, and reverse selected, move the mirror adjustment button rearwards and release, (one touch operation). The mirror will dip by 7 degrees. The mirror will return to its memorized position when reverse is de-selected, or the ignition switched to position "O".

Yep. The rotten front air intake for the heater has let enough water inside to rust the floor. The more I look, the more rust I find. I'd say my car is a good example to go by for rust... I'll post a proper full 'rust check list' and I am sure many of the 'rust free' cars here will appear to have at least some rust...

Ordered parts to replace my half-shaft outer U-joint. Full plate hub puller, the U-joint, hub nut, and a ball joint press kit which should work fine, and also that darn O2 sensor that I need to replace. Just in case anyone is curious as to what clued me in as to my wheel issue:
Go ahead, laugh, because I wanted to lol
