Yesterday evening I lost low and high beams. I can pull the stalk to flash the high beams, but that is all I get.
All other functions on the stalk are fine, and I still have all other lights. Fuses are fine.
So is there a body processor or something I should be looking at? I did see a older post about power cable terminals it the boot and will be checking those.
Just a guess but is there a Lighting control module? The one in my Mercury had the same problem and Ford issued a service bulletin for them.Took over a year for them to get an upgraded supply.
The normal lighting is controlled thru a relay. Without knowing what model/year your vehicle is it would be hard to advise further. If you go to the top of the page and click on USER CP you can add that information to your signature and it will always be there.

Look on the lower left area on page 81 to read though the stalk switch . Some have found the wire had come loose and some found the switch overcenter spring out of place . Print for 2001 and 2003 are the same as 2002 missing .

You learn something new everyday. I never new mobile would drop your signature. Well before tearing the column open and digging in to the stalk you might want to try swapping relays and checking fuses 6-8-19 and 21 in the engine compartment fuse box. Swap the relays with something the same that you know is working.

I checked fuses and relays last night. It would have been an improbable number of simultaneous errors.
And looking over the wiring diagrams that were shared with me earlier, it certainly seems like an issue between the switch and the body processing module. What would be helpful now is knowing where the body processing module is located! Then I can check input/output.
Thanks. I did exchange apathy for research and found that it is located behind the passenger glove box or thereabouts. Destiny has to wait till late morning when all the mosquitoes go back to sleep.
I had an issue like this not long ago. Before tearing your car apart, try disconnecting both of your headlight connectors and ohm them out with a multimeter. There are 2 grounding wires in each of the connectors: they should both show ".0" ohms resistance.
One set on each side of my headlights had .0 resistance, the other set had .8 ohms resistance. I searched high and low to find where the wire looms were grounded but could not locate a grounding point anywhere that made sense. With guidance from another member, I located the grounding lug just to the right hand side of the radiator (aka: F1 on the electrical Ground Point Location diagram) where the headlight loom grounding wire was supposed to be attached. The ground wire was missing and the lug was painted over! I spliced new ground wires into the headlight connectors on both sides and ran them to different grounding lugs. Bingo! Resistance is now .0 on both sides, and both headlights are extremely bright and functioning correctly.
I took a stab at troubleshooting yesterday without any real success. Looking at the wiring diagrams, the lighting switch on the stalk completes a ground for the body module. I tested proper ground for the turn signal circuits when switching on/off, but I don't get that with the headlights. They look like they share a common ground, but maybe someone with more familiarity with this can help me out.
For now I've jumpered the dip beam relay so I can get some light at night.
