I really like it, although I'd like a different color. Mind sharing how you had that done and the cost?
Sure. one of my good friends owns a hydrodipping business.
They take the engine cover and sand it down, apply a 3 stage base coat, and then clear coat over it to get the carbon fiber effect. he hand painted and matched the color of my F-Type (firesand orange) for all the piping and emblems.
He then hit it with a firesand pearlcoat in the clear to give it the orange sheet. I took the brightest pictures possible to show the outcome, but its MUCH less subdued in normal light. He had close to 10 hours in this one - materials around $350 - Total out the door if anyone wants one would be $700 on your stock cover. Obviously it can be made to anyone liking paint wise. In person, I've gotten nothing but compliments, despite what SinF would tell you.
Though I would opt for a different color, this looks great. Unfortunately I was looking for something with some aggressive venting and something I could just buy off the shelf without fussing with it. I’m fussing with enough other mods already. (Quad VAP exhaust already installed. Waiting for the wrap guy to get the the balance wrapped matte black.)

Oh yeah, I wish there was something vented and better looking as well. We did the best with what we could come up with.
I thought about modifying mine for venting, but there wasn't a good place to do so without getting rid of some of the mounting tabs. I ended up removing it but not before replacing the mesh hood vents. The mesh ones were leading to significant fading on the engine cover and I didn't want plastic pipes and fittings below to become embrittled by UV. When I was talking ot my service advisor about this he said my engine cover had "tan lines."
Unhingd: much better polished! Coming out of a couple of Hellcats that had a satin silver finish on the exposed supercharger, I was a bit surprised the Jaguar solution is a plastic cover that negatively impacts heat dissipation. I liked the detail of the small cat head emblem on the Dodge (did I say "Dodge" with detail recognition?, indeed).
sts-v: nice job! I like the dark CF look with the highlighting in car color pic best. Having said that, your Firesand installed in an otherwise color free engine bay probably pops! If you have time, please post a pic of it installed. Thank you for sharing!
All: anyone remove the cover with PPF on the hood? Wouldn't guess there are any heat driven issues but want to ask prior to pulling mine. Noticed in pics of the SVR there appears to be a small section with dark insulation under the hood. SVR guys or gals..any insight?
The award for "best engine display" in a car I've owned was my R8. Besides a full glass enabled view and carbon fiber that made my heart glad...it even had lighting! Unbelievable but I don't have a pic of the engine bay! I took every exterior shot you could imagine but no engine Alas, it is now but a memory.

I read comments here about that and did a little research myself. I even went so far as to get the SVR clips and was going to fabricate a carbon sheet to fit there. In the end, the clips are still sitting on my desk here and there is nothing on the underside of the hood.
I didn't make any notes about it so can't cite links, but I recall someone noting the SVR insulation was some kind of rubberized material. If I didn't see that on the forum, it might have been from the dealership's parts department. Anyway, that, plus its location, led me to conclude (perhaps correctly) that is was more for sound than heat.
No PPF though, so can't address that concern.
I gave a passing thought to a thermal dispersant coating on the intercooler cover, but the thought passed quickly.

I have xPel on the bonnet and no SVR style under hood insulation. No distortion or other film issues with the cover off for over 22k miles.
