Battery Disconnected and trunk is closed
Hello i messed up real bad today as i disconnected my battery and then closed the trunk only to realize that i need the battery to open it back up. Are there any ways to open it? i've seen some where you can jump it but will that work if my battery is disconnected? Please help and thanks.

You can put the positive jumper cable on the engine compartment fuse box ( L or R ) terminal post to give the car some power but not recommended for jump starting the engine . Positive donor battery to positive fuse box terminal post .
Do not cross
The trunk key is recommended by Motorcarman to be lubricated on a scheduled basis as they bind up if not .

Yeah, last resort... there are some threads here and in the X308 forum about using the holes (or cutting new ones) behind the license plate to fish around and unlock the trunk.
The idea of using a spare battery to feed some power via the engine bay is clever. Positive to one of the main feed lugs, and ground to body. Not sure why that wouldn't work.

The risk is that unless you are absolutely certain where that disconnected positive battery cable is, then it could do some damage. If its lying loose in the trunk and touching metal......

Excellent point .
I learned from someone else the trick of drilling the hole in the center of the crossing points of the 4 licence plate holes and being a hole large enough to put a round shafted screwdriver in and moving the handle to the car's left . Works like a charm . Use a post it note to mark your hole .

Drilling a hole behind the rear number plate is a well know way to operate the boot release on a flat / disconnected battery, if the key doesn't work.
Let this be a lesson to everyone reading this post to check that the key will operate the boot lock on their own car, when there is no power to the remote boot release.
