Was at a car show where a guy painted a hood! It took him about 2 hours to paintbrush it only looking at the picture in the top left corner.
I forgot to ask what it would cost but I think it would be really cool on my XK!:-)
As I don't have the supercharger vents this would compensate a little!:-D
Peter its a fantastic expression.
But it would be better if it was much darker.
As in no white paint, just black on black, so really subtle.
You would have to look on the hood to see it.
It would be great.
One thing to keep in mind folks; the OP lives in Sweden, a place where they dont have negative associations. So in our s-hole countries, when we see a tattoo on someone the association is that of a ruffian or riff-raff. They see the tattoo or even art.

And he's not really asking for input but opinions are like A%%holes. Everybody has one, so I'll offer up mine. Not for me personally but if you do it, consider having it imprinted on vinyl and wrap the hood with it. That way you can remove it with ease and will not impact the value of the car.
large vnyl sticker on the rear window prehaps unsure about the bonnet reminds me of a 70s firebird yuk
Hugely popular in Sweden. Because they are a clean slate and view other cultures with rose coloured glasses. Good thing.

I don't think I go thru with it but your suggestion is very good! I'll keep that in mind!:-)
I wonder if it was painted very subtly, like they do with ghost flames, how that might look. It would not be so in-your-face. On the other hand, if that was painted on an XKR hood, and the pedestrian collision system came into effect and the hood sprung up, the pedestrian would think he was being attacked by a large, angry cat. Not sure which would do more damage - the collision, or the shock of having a 4-foot cat head springing up at him.
