Default Seat memory control switch

My RHD drivers seat memory set switch doesn't appear to be working, no light or beep when depressed to set a memory position and it doesn't save the position. The previously set memories seem to be a bit erratic when the buttons are pressed too. I've tried another door switch pack with the same results and the plug is showing a voltage of about 0.35V at the memory switch pin. I'm now thinking maybe Seat Control Module. Has anyone come across this problem or have any other ideas?

There is the underseat module that can be swapped , easier said then done . There is more then one fuse if you look at the wiring guide

Fuses are all good and the 'shared' components on those fuses all work fine. Had a look at the module and even with the seat fully up and tilted it's a pig to get to as you say. All the plugs look to be seated ok and all the motors work fine from their respective switches. Getting another known good one might be problematic (and they ain't that cheap)

Well...you could, take the passenger side switch from the passenger door and try it... couldn’t you? That would shed some light on whether the switch is bad.

Unfortunately the passenger side doesn't have memory so not an option. I did find an older post with a download regarding potentiometer settings. Looks interesting....

If the motor in manual switch mode in going back and forth or in and out the polarity reversing works in the seat module and the motor works fine . If that is the case then it would point to the potentiometer in the seat and is not mechanically jamming as in some of the cases .

I made this last Christmas so forgive the pretty bow .

To see the potentiometer change you would have to plug in the control module and read it's resistance at one setting then move the motor and see a different potentiometer resistance . The reading should never read zero .

Fluids may have spilled into the manual switches and can be cleaned .
