Default Puddle Lights

Does anyone know how to add a logo projection puddle light to Jaguar XF 2017 with no existing light in the bottom of door. I mean the wiring of it. I need power to the light even if it is on all the time. Has anyone done that?

Never really looked too hard, but I think the lights are actually located under the mirrors and are quite small. Not gonna lie, I've been interested in finding a way to do this as well but I haven't done more than look to see whats for sale on AZ/Ebay for this.

Please keep me updated if you find a solution to this as I would be very interested in doing something similar.

Also looking at purchasing the illuminated door sills T2H17121PVJ looks like a simple plug and play situation.

I’ve added Jaguar door lights logo projection to my Jaguar XF 2017, and it's definitely possible. Since your car doesn’t have existing lights, you'll need to tap into a power source. I found that wiring to the door’s interior light circuit works well. The challenge is running the wiring neatly, but with patience, it's doable. Make sure to use a fuse tap to protect the circuit. If you prefer the lights to be on all the time, you could also tap into a constant 12V source, but that might drain your battery. Consider using a switch to control when the lights are on.
