[CRITICAL] Restore original CCF configuration "As Built" after unsuccessful result
Hi guys & I've read a lot around if it resonates with my problem but no luck,
So I'm in a critical situation now, because my car logged several errors & won't even start the engine after an update to CCF ( after I got the password to access).
All I wanted is to upgrade the Amplifier from Mid to High after I fitted in the High model which is compatible with XF 2012.
Eventually after update on CCF, here are modules & errors:
Is it a communication issue with those modules during update ? The battery was yellow & probably low voltage, it seemed quick to download the configuration & apply it, but after care restart here is the state:
here are the missmatches with "As Built" eventually:
here it proposes me to run the the Extras of errored modules, but I wait for my battery to fully recharge to try these (will post later):
What can be done ?
1. Can "As built" CCF configuration be restored ? I know it's an .XML file in "/ProgramData/JLR/IDS/Sessions/SOFTWARE_MANAGEMENT/SM_AS_BUILT"
2. Should I restore back the values & try to re-download a new config ? But I'm afraid it will still log those errors & critical modules.
3. Would a hard reset of battery ( disconnecting ground for 10 min ) help ?
[ASAP] Please advice & help.

I noticed those modules just failed to download because for some reason the wrong parameters are set in CCF for PowerTrain, Transmission etc. - all those crossed red modules, so communication with them can't be established, hence the car can't start the engine.
Why there was ? question mark in the value parameter ?
I don't know the right value & if it can be edited ..
so that explains the red crossed unable-to-communicate-with modules.
Where can I see the right values for PowerTrain modules from "As Built" original state ?

No, I tried posting the value CX2314D628AG for example instead of CX23?14D628?AG & it still inserted ? as it means the dash probably.
So it leaves me with the question, why it can't communicate with those red modules - ABS, GSM, PCM, RCM, TCM, AAM, ACM, IPC ?
Why it can't download or match the appropriate .vbf file for them ?

Thanks for noticing, basically no stable supply of 12.5+ yet.
Just starting the engine when I need to Run a configuration + a battery charger (but it's weaker) to reach green.
I know about 13+V constant but not yet possible.
Eventually fixed all the errors after Security Authorization procedure.
But my main problem resonates with "AAM -> no sound" because I unaware ran "Configure new module" after I plugged the BJ32-19C164-AF High to my Mid.
So now I try desperately to localte/find/obtain the matching .vbf calibration/firmware files for this amp: BJ32-19C164-AF.
Any help?

Having the same issue... did you go through all of the authorization to solved it.. I will give ot it a try I did the HUD module update and after car wont Start

I had exactly the same issues as the OP. Non starting, lots of major ECUs not responding etc. I'll add a some details which may help others in their dilemma.
My trouble started when I changed some of the CCF settings for my Entertainment.
1. Because the individual items only have one layer of detail they can not be grouped on the CCF editor. Although I did notice when trying to rectify the issue that on entry the CCF has managed to group settings, it's well worth seeking this out as 'Subwoofer' in the wrong group appears to be what upset my XF. 'As Built' the first Subwoofer you first come across was set as 'not fitted', which in mine it definitely is. This is one of the setting I had to back out.
2. If you do use the editor, then change only things you are absolutely sure of.
It appears my 2nd Key fob is also now broken. I put a new battery in it and it's still not recognised. It is critical that you have only WORKING key fobs programmed to the car. at least 2 of the routines will fail (quietly) if not. It's also worth noting that the procedure to re-program fobs also refreshes the security block throughout the car. When I did the 'Immobiliser' routine it kept telling me 0 keys programmed to the instrument panel, but then carried on as if nothing was wrong.
3. You can do no harm ensuring your programmed keys are up to date.
There was a couple of times when things are working properly, but you think 'oh no'. For instance, when you reprogram your fobs, there is one time when you are asked to turn the ignition on. The dash says 'smart key not found', so nothing happens. CARRY ON. This appears to be by design and will successfully complete. It's more hair raising when you perform the 'Start Authorisation' routine, and because it can't access the ABS module, it fails to show the pressure reading when holding down the brake pedal. If this happens, it will not fix your issue, you MUST have access to the ABS. For those who like detail is says that part of the start up checks is the brake hydraulic pressure must be greater than 3 bar to start the car.
When I backed out my changes the car failed to start again after updating the CCF. I reprogrammed the one key again and then ran the 'immobilisation' routine and then the 'start authorisation' routine.
The car now starts and I have my audio back, oddly this was working right up until the first time the car started again and then it failed, hence the backing out of the CCF changes. You can check what is changed using the form prior to going into the editor. Ensure you have the 'as built' CCF selected prior to going into the editor, and then it's just a case of clicking on the item and then clicking on the 'Use Active' arrow, that should change the arrow in the top grid to point the other way. If I hadn't been so panicked I'd had taken some photos. If I got there again, I'll document properly.
One for those in the know. One of the setting is the 'Emissions Standard'. Mine was set to 'Federal'. I have now set it to 'Europe' and the car does feel a little more spritely. Does any one know what this would do for the engine ECU?
I have a long journey at the weekend and I'll be able to see what MPG I'm getting and be able to compare with the last time I did the same run (48.3mpg).
