Hello fellow XK8 owners. My 97XK8 has many broken bits of plastic interior most of which are unavailable from Jaguar but I recently came across Octoclassic in another post, and I was excited to find a company who reproduce XK8 plastic parts here in the UK. But none of their parts are available in Cream (NDR). I have contacted them to see why they don't have Cream coloured parts and they replayed saying they don't offer the Cream colour as I am the only person who has requested it. So if anyone else is looking for interior plastic parts in this colour they might want to also register there interest with them too.

I had a person "print" some cosmetic pieces for my XK8 and they came in a light beige finish. I took a scrap piece of leather that matched my interior to the local paint store. They matched it and sold me a sample size of the paint for $5 USD. Painted my parts with 2 coats and they match perfectly. Holding up well so far.

 

Good Idea I never thought of painting them, but now when I think about it I worked in plastic factory in my 'youth' which made plastic parts for Jaguar and Rover, some of which were painted after being molded (I seem to remember the XK8 dash side vents were item that were painted). Shame I didn't know back then that I would end up buying an XK8 20yrs later!!

 

If you have CREAM (NDR) leather, you have SABLE seatbelts according to the 'A' pages of the JEPC.(CLASSIC TRIM)
SPORTS interior with NDR leather will have WARM CHARCOAL seatbelts.

If they make SABLE, then that is what you probably need to buy.
Jaguar did not make CREAM seatbelts so that is why they are not available?

 

Yes the seat belts are sable, but the plastic surrounds and adjusters are Cream same as the seats (and their plastic parts).
