Default Outdoor Car Cover

Looking for suggestions on a good outdoor car cover for a 2023 F-type.
Any recommendations? Experiences?
Thank you.

I've had a bunch of indoor and outdoor car covers over the years and almost feel as if it is better not to use an outdoor cover and instead take really good care of your car's finish. If you must, get one with a soft inner layer and be careful how you handle it. Regular use of a heavy duty car cover [as many outdoor covers are] can take its toll.

The exceptions to the above could include a car subject to environmental abuse [desert sun, particulate carrying wind, tree sap, etc.].

I have a covercraft cover for my mustang which lives outside, it is very good but ultimately I have ended up having a carport built for it as (after nearly 3 years) the car cover is a bit of a pain getting on and off, and it has started leaving a dust residue on the car after heavy rain

This is the one I recently purchased for my coupe. It fits really well and is heavy duty with a soft inner liner. It has 3 anchor straps as well so it stays secure in the wind.

TBH I wouldn't buy something as nice as a F-Type if I couldn't keep it in a garage.

I would if my garage space was being taken up by a Bentley GT and an Aston DBS...but I understand your point, I have tossed up trading the Mustang that lives outside for a '12 or newer XKR, and wondered whether I could bear it living outside (in the end I decided I couldnt live without a manual, so I didnt have to make the call)

Not an option for me, at least not a viable one. Also not viable: not getting the F-Type.

I have a Covercraft that I got after a little sun damage to to forwardmost three inches of one of the leather strips on the dash. The "Covid Summer" saw the car sit in one spot for an extended period during scorching heat. That same stretch also did in the back window on the soft top of my Miata, even though it was folded under the hard top and covered with a protector. It might have been the original though, so it didn't owe me anything.

The F-Type cover is the Covercraft Weathershield HD. I don't use it a lot, but it seems to be good quality, as befitting the price. I got what I think is a "Silverguard Plus" from Coverking for the Miata, mostly to protect from sun, but it's not at the same quality (or price) level. I'd have to drag it out, and that's not happening today.

Buy a house with a 3 car garage or sell either your Bentley or Aston to make room for your F-Type, lol.

That being said I'm also cautious where I drive my F-Type too. I live near Washington, DC and just read over a quarter of the motorists there drive uninsured so I'll drive my Nissan beater if I have to go into that city.

BTW - I travel for work and spend a lot of time "on the road" and in hotels, so I would like the car cover for those times. I ordered the cover recommended by Scratchbuilt (Thank you for the recommendation) Hopefully, I will have a similar experience!

I drive all of my cars, that is what they are for. Although I do spend a large amount of time detailing, but I enjoy that part in my down time.

I just got an email notice: They've got a "Black Friday in July" sale going on right now. The HP is down to $380 and the HD is down to $502.

Not sure if this cover is still available from walko789

On another note, if you know someone who might need a car cover - I ordered one and Donna ordered one so I have TWO and no refunds on the order...I have not even unrolled it.
Custom Covercraft 5-Layer Indoor Car Cover. Paid $299.99. Part #: C17617IC. Color: Gray
For Vehicle: 2022/2023 Jaguar F-Type Base With 2 mirror pockets. I assume that it will fit other model years, but I make no promises. $150
