New Member in Wisconsin!
Hey y'all,
I recently picked up a 2002 Super V8 (X308 XJR). I bought it running rough and fixed her right up! There was a bad leak in the supercharger ducts. I saw the bulletin on getting the new "grooved" plates and ducts, but I went for the budget option and just readjusted and reinstalled (I'm only 23 years old... the money isn't coming in fast).
I bought it off someone younger than me and the exhaust is a complete hack-job leaving the mufflers a little too close to comfort to the rear tires, but this is the next project! Currently, I'm having trouble starting it and need to get that figured out first. Everything I've had to do this far I've been able to find on these forums (which is great)! Unfortunately, I've hit a dead end, so I made an account here to ask. I'll be posting a new thread in the x308 forum after this (I'll link it here later), but wanted to introduce myself first.
Anyway, the outside looks like it's 20 years old (because it is) and it has a saggy headliner, but here she is in all her glory:
