Default Can't check oil level

Before you roll your eyes, yes, I let it idle for 10 minutes to get up to temperature. Yes, I then ran the crap out of it for five minutes to super make sure it's up to temperature. It still says "temperature unavailable". Am I low on oil??? It's only been 2500 miles since last change. This is, without a doubt, the biggest issue I have so far with my Jaguar...

Ha! Figured it out thanks to
You have to wait 10 minutes after you shut the car off, which makes sense giving the oil enough time to drain back down into the oil sump. My oil is "OK".

I thought you just double press cancel to get live reading if it says unavailable.

You can get a reading without waiting - just not as accurate.

Speaking of accuracy

I'll remind readers here that when the dashboard indicator drops to less than FULL, your oil level is ~1 qt/ltr LESS THAN IT WAS BEFORE.
