Dad to a new owner of a 99 XJ8 L in USA

Thanks for having this resource! I have fixed many problems and even rebuilt cars using forums long before YouTube was a thing. My son bought a 99 XJ8 L with 130k miles for $1000 so I'm here to find answers and learn what we can yo save money on repairs. Always been a huge fan of the Jaguar brank. I think my favorite is the XJR 15.

I suggest adding your Location to your Sig.
These later units have a lot of items that are MArket specific, and repeating yourself for that gets tiring, HA.

My 16yo Daughter "stole" her 1976 S2 XJ6, 5 cyl engine, and rebuilt it herself, with my assistance, and now at 37, its still her Daily Driver. SIMPLE vars these Jaguars.
