Default XE 35t low coolant alarm, help on possible leak locations

For the last couple weeks I have gotten a low coolant message intermittently. The first time I checked it it seemed like it was full. The next time when hot the resivor was low, but when it cooled off it was full or nearly full. I topped it off and didn't get a message for a few days, then, got it again. Again topped it off. I can't see any obvious signs of leaking, so wondering if anyone has some suggestions on "typical" leak locations I can check. It's not running hot and I haven't noticed any other performance issues. But the coolant must be going somewhere of I've topped it off a couple times. Any help is appreciated

How many mileage is on the car? There could be a leak somehwere or the coolant maybe mixing with the oil (head gasket issue).
Copy and past and post this on XJ (x351) or F-Type (x152) forum. Your car's engine have the same engine as the XJ and F-Type and you'll get a lot of feedback over there.
