Hi All,

On my 1983 XJ-6 Series 3 U.S. spec. with 44,000 original miles, I noted that my A/C wasn't getting as cold as it had before. The pressures were also off. I vacuumed and recharged the system, and it is still doing the same. I eventually noted that the A/C condenser fan was not turning on. After consulting other threads, I replaced fuse 11, and tried to jump pin 30 and pin 87 at the relay. I also used a test light. Bottom line - I have no power at pin 30. I tried cleaning the contacts and still nothing. I was wondering if anyone knew where the wires from pin 30 run to? Is there another fuse I should check? Thanks everyone in advance!!

 

UPDATE! I replaced fuse #1 on the left front fender in the engine compartment and this is now RESOLVED!! .
