Does the XJ12 use the same expansion tank as the six cylinder car? SNG Barrett website implies it does by not having a separate V12 listing but I want to confirm. Thanks, John

Yes it does, I replaced mine with a tank from here https://parts.jaguarlandroverclassic.../brand/jaguar/ and it came with a new cap and level sensor.

By expansion tank are you referring to the engine coolant system ?

There is some experience issues and resolution on this from others

I do not have the V - 12 and the V - 12 has a proper / real world coolant service level procedure

There was some issues with the coolant level sensor ( different type connector specific ) especially with the X308 ( V - 8 ) that does not have the V - 12 ( out of V - 12 engine production )
