Hi Gerald,

I have moved your thread from the forum for the X308 to the forum for the X350. Is there a specific question you want to pose to the other members regarding swapping an XF S/C engine into an N/A X350?

Cheers,

Don

Vague post with useless thread title gets vague response:

Wait, no it doesn't. it gets no response! No clue what the point is. is it a question? Is he asking how to do it? Is he asking if it's possible? is he saying he's actually done it?

Well, my response, anyway, for what it's worth... The XF is a different generation car, and the engine is a different engine. Will it even sit in the same mounts? I'd be astonished if the XJ's wiring harness even came close to accommodating it, much less the control computers.

Not 100% certain the 4.2 would be a challenge to fit, mechanically:

....ECU et al..... who knows?

even so .. great deal of effort, no useful gain, so I'd hafta ask:

Why?
