I have looked in the owners manual, called the dealer and parts and service were very uncertain. Help, please.

2019 Jaguar XF S 3.0 SC AWD. Which differential comes in these cars? The E Differential or Mechanical LSD? This information is much harder than I anticipated to find, I'm trying to locate the correct oil to service the Differentials and the Transfer Case. Thanks.

 

No Jag AJ126 V6 ever got the e-diff, that was always V8 only.
I don't know about the XF let alone the AWD version but at least in the F-Type the RWD V6S got the mechanical LSD while the "base" V6 got the open diff, so it might be the same for the XF (or it might not!). Just be aware that the mechanical LSD takes the same fluid as the e-diff - Castrol BOT 720 - while the open diff takes a different fluid. About the fluid for the AWD transfer case I have no clues!
